Information about our Business Clients

As a Netupdate customer, you are generally in the business of originating, processing or servicing home loans. We maintain contact information about the businesses we serve, such as name, address, phone number, and email address for notification purposes for the services you have enrolled in. Certain services may also require that businesses maintain credit card information with us for recurring billing purposes. Business contact information may be used for marketing additional Netupdate products and services.

Information from our Clients' Customers

Our software helps businesses facilitate and administer loan transactions. This service requires the sharing of non-public personal information of borrowers as required to successfully process a loan. This includes such information as name, address, phone number, social security number, employment history, asset and liability information, income, and credit history. Netupdate considers itself a custodian of this private consumer information and uses it only as directed by you for the sole purpose of servicing the loan transaction.

Automatic Information

We collect and analyze broad demographic information from visitors to our Web site such as IP address, operating system and Web browser. We also aggregate and analyze information about our business customer usage of our services. This information helps us understand how business customers use our services and gives us insight on how to improve our products.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file we transmit to your computer's hard drive through a Web browser. Cookies are required and must be enabled to successfully use our services. They are essential because they allow us to maintain a secure session without logging in repeatedly. We also store alphanumeric codes and other information in the cookie, including your name, in order to personalize your experience and help our application run faster. No private information is ever stored in a cookie.

We maintain a number of security layers including physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the private information stored on our systems. The systems that businesses connect to are located in a secure facility protected by keycard access, security guards, and video surveillance. Additionally, certain sensitive information such as credit card information and social security numbers are stored in an encrypted format.
