Netupdate® and DocuSign, Inc. Form Distribution Relationship
--Loan professionals have electronic signature capabilities through new relationship --

Bellevue, WA - Netupdate, Inc., a leading provider of point-of-sale technology for the mortgage industry, announced a private label distribution relationship with DocuSign, Inc., a provider of innovative document delivery and e-signature solutions. Provided as Electronic Signature by Netupdate, this partnership brings secure document delivery and electronic signature capabilities to Netupdate’s flagship product, Originator Pro.

Mortgage professionals are able to engage, qualify, and approve borrowers quickly and efficiently using Originator Pro. This powerful tool gives loan officers a customized web site where borrowers can apply for loans, get pre-approved, see loan status information throughout the lending process, and securely communicate with their lender.

Electronic Signature by Netupdate is a web service. Document senders simply 'print' into an instant envelope where the contents are encrypted and stored on a central server. Recipients are invited via email to authenticate, review and sign the documents using a unique “Electronic Signature Stamp” created just for them. Once everyone has completed signing, all parties have the option to print a master copy for their records, download a signed copy for local storage, or archive for secure long-term storage.

“Customers can now have point of sale documents signed in an instant,” says Diane Holmstrom, CEO of Netupdate. “This new service will shorten the borrowers' time to commitment. And, if there is concern about investor acceptance, point of sale is a very safe place to start getting comfortable with e-signatures, as you have the closing table to get docs resigned if necessary.”

“We’re very excited to be working with Netupdate in the mortgage industry” said Court Lorenzini, CEO of DocuSign. “By combining the DocuSign technology with an industry leading platform like Originator Pro, mortgage lenders will be able to generate a higher throughput of successful transactions, while simultaneously providing an increased level of customer service. The marketplace has been crying out for a simple way to sign documents electronically, and Netupdate is leading the way.”

About DocuSign, Inc.
DocuSign, Inc. was founded in 2003 with the fundamental goal of enabling any document to be sent for electronic signature as easily as it could be printed. During 2003, DocuSign acquired the assets of DocuTouch, a pioneer in electronic signature technology since 1998 that had already invested more than $10 million in development of the internal processes used to secure, encrypt and distribute electronic documents. DocuSign has leveraged these technology assets and associated patents into a unique user-friendly Web-based service that simplifies and speeds the process of sending, signing and storing legal documents.
